which way forward?

When looking for a job, you should be ambitious but also realistic.

Think about what you really want to do.
Think about whether you will be able to get and do that job now.
If not, think about what you could do to change that. Do you need to learn new skills? Do you need to get qualifications? Do you need to look for a different job first to get some experience?

You need to know what skills you have and what qualities you have.
This will tell you:

What job you´ll be good at
What job you´ll enjoy.

If you compare your skills and qualities with those needed for the job you want, you´ll know:

What new skills and qualifications you need to get
What qualities you need to develop.

A skill is the ability to do something well.	A quality is a positive thing about your personality.
Examples:	Examples:
Typing Using a computer Driving Writing Dancing Sewing	Extrovert - lively and outgoing Able to work as part of a team - works well with other people Able to work on their own initiative - works well without supervision or many instructions Persistent - doesn´t give up easily.
