Which college?
Things to think about
When choosing a college you need to think about:
- Whether it offers the course you want
- Where it is
- What it's like.
To find out about colleges you can:
- Search on the Internet
- Go to your local library
- Use a UCAS handbook. (For higher education courses only)
When you have found places that run the sort of course you want, get a prospectus. This is a booklet about the college and its courses. A copy might be in your local library. If not, ring or email the college and they will send one.
As well as the courses offered, you should think about whether you want to live at home or away from home. Look at what facilities the colleges have and what sort of people go there.
